Floating die cuts in your window cards!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!

This is Kimberly  from My Craft Spot and I am so excited to be able to share this project with you all!  I have been having a great time making these window cards with the floating die cuts!  They are so much fun to make and to give away and so much fun to receive!

I used the George cartridge to make the card base.  I welded 2 rounded corner rectangles (5.88 w by 4.25 h) together on my gypsy.  Then I added a circle 'window' (3.33 h) from the Birthday Bash cartridge.

The scalloped 'window frame' comes from the Birthday Bash cartridge and was cut at 3.18 inches high.  (Scroll down for a video showing how I made this card)

The candles were cut from the Birthday Bash cartridge.  The center candle was cut at 2.11 inches high and the other two candles at 1.86 inches high.

The fun papers are from Pebbles and the Baby Blue Bakers Twine is from My Craft Spot.

The fun stamped sentiments are from My Craft Spot. (Sweet Sentiments set 1 & 2)

I added stickles to the candles and did some faux stitching and dots with my black and white pens.

Below is the first window card I made with the floating die cuts. Click HERE for my original post on this card.  I love the sentiment that goes with this:
Outside of card - A hundred hearts would be too few
Inside of card - . . . to carry all my love for you!

Did you know you can curve your clear stamps?!?!

Here is a video showing how I made the floating candles window card!

Be sure to visit My Craft Spot for more fun projects, videos and weekly challenges with prizes! This weeks challenge is adding 'bling' to your project with a set of my new stamps as a prize!!

Have a wonderful day!
