Well this is a page just dripping in BLING. My grand daughters just love things that sparkle, so I think this layout fits the bill. As you can see I fit all my pieces on 2 pages and just cut different colors to highlight the busy background paper.
I used Storybook for Birthday Girl, Base Camp for Brianna, the party horns, hats, candy, and small stars are from Celebration, the large stars from A Childs Year. I am trying to use carts that I haven't used in a long time. The wonderful thing about having a Gypsy is it's one cut, no changing carts!
I challenge you to use all of your cartridges. You loved them when you bought them so I'm sure they are still wonderful and can be used on many layouts for years to come!

ReplyDeleteHey, a girl can never have too much bling...I love this page...such fun to look at...I adore finding treasures on my carts....I've decided there are only a couple of more I'd like to have right now and will wait on them....there are so many cuts to use on the ones I have....and it's so fun to look for the perfect one...wonderful page!

ReplyDeleteI was just exploring some of my old carts last night with my little girl. It's kind of fun to see the progression PC has made in the designs on the carts, but there is so much good stuff on the old ones. I love that you got your grandson to scrap. My daughter is 5 and she loves to come "help" me in whatever craft I am doing. She is going to grow up and join an artists commune. She loves to create! Thank you for the inspiration and the push to use the old carts!
