Well it's time for another weekly card kit giveaway and this week we have Something To Crow About!!! How cute is this? Don't you just love the papers on this card? All you need to do is leave a comment under this post and you may be our next lucky winner of a weekly card kit.
This is how the design looks on my Gypsy. Notice again I am using a 12x24" mat. I like the 1 cut produces 2 cards method. This saves me so much time, I love it. After designing I laid the papers out on the mat and cut. I took my time in getting all the little pieces up so I wouldn't have to redo but still had to cut another rooster as I pulled it off too fast and the little legs remained with the mat. Notice for the letters I used my drywall tape as it kept everything in shape and I didn't loose the dot on my I!
I made one for each kit.
I inked the little roosters legs, beak and crest. Then I adhered the feathers and now he looks so handsome.... just strutting his stuff!!!
I don't take the drywall tape off until I glue it and adhere it to the card.
See it is easier to line up correctly this way.
Then I used my fingers and spatula and slowly lifted the tape off the card.
I adhered the paper for my sentiments, and after I did I wished I had inked the edges but it is too late now. Next time I will lay it on the paper and then decide to ink or not.
Now wasn't that easy? And he is so handsome too. I hope you liked today's project. 1 lucky person is going to win this card, all you need to do is leave a comment on this post (make sure I know how to contact you) by Friday evening 8PM CST. Winner announced on 8/14 by 6AM
