Gypsy Made Simple - Learn How To Store Your Carts On Your Kindle Fire & Some Blog Candy

Well good morning everyone. I trust you had a GREAT week and are ready for a very different Gypsy Made Simple this morning. Well in the past couple of videos I made many many people noticed that I use my Kindle Fire to keep my cartridge books on. Well I had a ton of emails requesting instruction on how I installed them on the Kindle Fire. You see I have all the carts in their boxes put away like all good Gypsy owner do. But that leaves us with yearning for those books especially with the intricate cuts so that is is easy for me to see how they look and have some instructions too for those times I am not quite sure of what I should do. Well this is what today is about learning to load those carts onto your Kindle Fire with ease. So like every Gypsy Made Simple Saturday, go grab a cup of coffee and let's get started.  Oh the Elmo's Party is because I feel like celebrating the summer and want to have a little blog candy... but we can talk about that later, so on to today's video.

Now wasn't that easy... remember though it won't let you put the folder in so open the folder and just highlight the books and drag to the document folder and you are all set.
Now let's get on with the BLOG CANDY!!! This is such a fun little cart and I know someone will just love to have it in their cartridge library. So all you need to do is leave a comment. I will then use random.org to pick a winner from comments made by 4:00PM 7/27, and the winner will be announced early Saturday morning.

  23. I just purchased an Ipad today and as soon as I get re-energized I'm going to open the box! Can't wait to put my handbooks on it. Right now I can put them on my iPhone, but really, who has young enough eyes for that? I believe you need to download the Adobe app on your Fire to put the handbooks on it. At least that's what I saw on okieladybug.com. Thanks, Sheila.

  36. Thanks so much for sharing this video. It will help so many people.
FYI many of the cartridge handbooks that are not in the Cricut library can be found if you go to the shopping page, find that cart, click on it and scroll down to its info. You can click on where it says digital handbook or trifold, etc to view those.
Thanks for the chance for blog candy. I have a sweet tooth.

  45. Oh my! I have the kindle fire but had no idea that I could load the cart handbooks on it. I hated looking through 100+ boxes to find the handbook I needed and the image is so small on the gypsy that I had a hard time finding what I wanted. This is genious! Thank you so much for another useful "gypsy made simple". You are the BEST!

  47. You're gonna LOVE having your cart manuals on an iPad!!! I did that with mine, and it's so nice to be able to browse them wherever I happen to be! I find that I do more preplanning for scrapbook pages and cardmaking since I can use my iPad to look at the manuals rather than having to tote around all those little books! Have fun with your iPad! (And yes, it's easy to install the cart manuals on an iPad.)

  57. Now... I thought I was just so clever when I realized that I could put my books on my tablet via adobe files, but wow! It would have been so much easier then what I went thought if I had a kindle fire! Hee! Hee! They are all there and it's wonderful! I don't have to get on the ladder to get my cartridge book and I love that I can keep all of my magazines on there too with such a small footprint on my work table. Sure beats the laptop with the 17" screen. Hee! Hee! Wonderful idea!
