This is a close up of the project we are going to make today... You are going to love both projects as I am demonstrating how to heat emboss your Christmas cards to make them look elegant while keeping them easy enough to mass produce!

Here is a close up of the first card we will be looking at today. I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the edges and then I heat embossed the Nativity scene on the card. It looks so elegant. Be sure to watch the video for all the details.

Now wasn't that easy? And you can see how fast that would go if you did them in assembly line fashion. I did two in a half an hour and that was not know what or how to make.... the next should go much faster.

Now it is time for the second card. This one is a little more work but so worth the effort that you put into it. The stamp I purchased is from I Brake For Stamps and it is so awesome that I just love it. If  I remember correctly it was under $6 too!

Don't you just love the effect the heat embossing and then painting in the image makes? This just opens up so many ideas for me that I just need more time to create!

This is the card completed but it really is prettier in person as you see all the glitter and sparkle it has. I hope that you give this a try.

Here is a close up of the double embossed card using bot techniques and I just love how it turned out, don't you. The embossing folder is Tiffany and it was so easy to use.

This is a close up of the card and look how it just shimmers in the light. I just love the elegant look and feel to this card and it was so easy to make.

Here is the completed card, beautiful, isn't it?
I challenge you to emboss something this week using either method. I am giving away a wonderful prize this week. All you need to do is leave a comment and you are eligible to win. 7. WOW Sheila those cards are both so very elegant. Great videos. I struggled without an 'embossing buddy' (the anti-static thing you mention,) it really does make embossing life easier.

  13. Beautiful cards, Sheila, & the videos are so imformative. I look forward to all of your videos, as I always learn something new. I have embossed before, but need to try some of your tricks, now! FYI, if you don't have an embossing buddy to remove static just use a dryer sheet; everyone has these! Merry Christmas. BethAnn M.

  21. Love your cards, Sheila. I love it when "we can chat while we scrap."
You didn't mention the name of the embossing gold you used. Is it from CTMH? I didn't know about the liquid pearls, where are those from and what's the name?
    Thanks
