Hi Everyone,
Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here to share my project for this month. Thank you again Sheila :) I saw this pretty layered card made with borders on Paper Trey Ink's site made by Dawn McVey and I thought I would give it a try. I don't have border dies but I thought a border punch would work. My card is made with the doily border punch from Martha Stewart. I used orange and black card stock from Stampin' Up and some Halloween card stock from a photo mat stack from Cloud 9 Design. The stamped images are from My Creative Times stamp set called Fright Night.
My base is orange and I layered the borders by only using my tape runner on the top so that I could fluff up the layers when the card was complete.
Once I was done, I turned it over and cut off the excess. I then adhered it to my card, which is black.
Then did the stamping.
I think it came out so cute. I love trying new things and I am so glad there are such talented people out there that I can learn from and try out their creations and make them my own.
I am also going to post my card on the Paper Trey Ink's site.
Thanks for stopping by and Sheila Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be on your Design Team.
Have a great weekend everyone. :)
I like this. TFS
