Hi Everyone,
It's Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room to share my project this month. Thank you to Sheila for having me. I haven't had too much time to craft lately :( I decided to make this cute easy box that I saw from Angie from My Chic N' Scratch. She makes a lot of boxes and bags and they are very easy and come out so cute. The best thing is, you can make them and decorate them to make them your own.
For this box, you start out with a piece of card stock that measures 9" x 5 1/2", then you score at 1", 2 1/2", 6 1/2" and 8".
These two sides you just cut up to the score lines but don't cut them off.
Then put adhesive as shown. I used score tape. You can use the red sticky tape or any good adhesive.
Then fold it up as shown. You can check out Angie's video for more details.
This will be the back of the box. You cut another piece of card stock to 5 1/2" x 4", round the top corners.
This piece will go over the exposed adhesive. For the designer paper, I used The Crush Collection from Bo Bunny. For the front of the box, the paper is cut 3 3/4" x 2 15/16". The top part is cut at 4" x 3 1/2". I used heart dies and cut three different sizes out and used dimensionals for each one to pop them up. Then you can put either cards or candy in a bag. The possibilities are endless for this box.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
Hi Lisa! Very cute box. Thanks for sharing the instructions. Love the patterned paper you used to finish off the box.
