Speedy Recovery Cards

Good morning, I am so excited to show these cards. I shared a sketch in Facebook's Design With Sassy Group. This past Monday and I thought I better share it here to as there are many of you that don't know about this closed group. It is really great to share our projects on and to encourage each other than it is on the blogs. So if you are not a member yet click HERE and ask to join. This video is showing you how to make it in Design Space. So watch the next video and lets get making some cards!

See how easy that was. Don't you just love how easy it is to create with the Explore? For those still using the Gypsy, it will be easy for you too. Be sure to watch  the following video to see how to put these cards together.

And it is even easy to put together. Use your stamps and inks to make your cards look beautiful. I used my new Get Well Stamp Set, and I love how it turned out.

This is a close up of the cards.

Here is a close up of the inside of the card, I daubed the edges of all the white paper to give it a more finished look.

This is the stamp set I used on this card. You can reach it on DesignWithSassy.com

Thank you for joining us today.  I hope you have a great day and I am looking forward to seeing what you do making this card, so once you get it together be sure to post it on Facebook's Design With Sassy group.

My Card class

Hello everyone! Java Jen here from JAVA JEN CREATIONS. Thanks again, Sheila, for allowing me to share here! Recently I introduced a card class that I am offering in my home and I thought I would share the 3 types of cards here. I kept the designs simple to make it easy for participants to assemble. I'm keeping some of these cards on hand for when I need a quick card!

In my class, participants will be making 5 of each card. Thank You, Get Well and Happy Birthday.

This is one of my favorite cards because the embossed layer gets ripped and then adhered with the Cricut bandages adhered on top of that! Isn't it fun??

The birthday cards are fun because I picked 5 different colors for the stamped layer and added an embossed layer. I think the participants will have fun learning these simple but impressive techniques!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Get Well Card

This is a very quick card. I made it from design space and all I did was feed in the number of cuts I wanted and it was a matter of 10 minutes and I had 8 cards cut out. I used 7 sheets of 12x12 paper and the machine even scored the cards for me. It doesn't get easier than that!

See how easy it is to put this card together. My stamp is from the Stamps of Life, and I used her stamps also. I believe the color was artichoke. So simple and it looks so good!

Here is a close up and you can see that I used foam tape behind the flower pod to give this card dimension. The paper had a little gold shimmering fleck in the center of every flower.

Here you can see the cards are all made and I even have 5 of them in the mail already to family members that are battling cancer, had a surgery or even a broken leg. They need the encouragement and a reminder to get well.

I hope you enjoyed today's post. Thank you for joining me today, and thank you for the encouraging words. Your comments continue to inspire me.

Get Well Window Card Made On Explorer

Thank you for joining me today as I make my first window card on my Explorer. First let me tell you I am in love with Design Space.... it is so easy to make a card and multiples, just couldn't get easier. You all know how I love t make more than one card at a time and this program is perfect for that.

Wasn't that easy. I love that the Design Space has everything in color so you have an idea of how they will appear on a mat, and that your can conserve paper and use your scraps when you sync the colors and move items on the mat.

Here are both of the cards, didn't they turn out great? The paper colors are so bright and cheerful I just love these cards.

Here is a close up of the card and I can see I need to do a little better job lining up my pieces! LOL. My fault I was so excited to be using my new Explorer.

Here is another close up of the card. I hope you enjoyed today's post. I know I really enjoyed sharing with you.
Thank you for your sweet-sweet words of encouragement. Your comments inspire me to continue sharing with you. Have a blessed week.
