Sydney Make a Birthday Card For The Card Party

Hello I hope you are having a great day. I have been so busy. I just got back last night after 3 weeks away from home and couldn't get my computer to work. I called Geek squad and here we are. This is a card my little Sydney made for our little card party a few weeks back. It is so easy and looks as cute as can be. This card was cute from my Silhouette.
Then Sydney ran the frosting through my Sizzix Big Shot. She made the little flowers by punching them out with one of my old punches using scrap glitter paper.

See how easy it was to put the card together, Easy as can be!

 

The stamp was from Stamps of Life and Sydney added a few flowers on the inside too.

 

This is a copy of the finished card. It was a little large so we used the envelope punch to make envelopes for it. Doesn't it look as cute as can be?

Carissa's Little Turtle Card Makes A Great Card Party Card

Good day, join us today where Carissa makes another card for the card party. This is actually her first video and Carissa was a little scared. This is such an adorable card I think I will want to make more! I duplicated the base and welded them together after I had sized everything.

This is just so easy to put together. Carissa put together in no time at all. The cherries had CTMH liquid glass on them to make shiney. She also used gle as it was difficulty to line up with the ATG.

Here is another close up of the card. We used a lot of scrap paper to finish this card off and it turned out as cute as can be.

The inside boasts a stamp from Stamps of Life and as you can see it goes just perfect! The card fits in a standard A2 envelope making it easy to mail.

Carissa Makes Her First Card For The Card Party And Wants To Teach You!

Good morning, I am so excited to share this great little card with you. My 10 year old granddaughter Carissa is making it and it is her 1st card ever!!! It is a cute little snail that we used plenty of stickles and a little of bling.

Wasn't that easy? Carissa was a little nervous but she knew what she was doing. I designed the card using Design Space. You can do it too, just pick your little critter, do a copy paste on the base only. Then you want to line up the base and click to top piece, move up till they overlap a little. Then all you do is weld. You can ad a score line in the middle if you want.

Carissa applied the stickles using her fingers to make sure it wasn't too thick but enough to catch your attention!

She stamped the inside using a stamps of life stamp and even found a little snail and added that to her card sentiment.

Join 5 Year Old Gavin and 11 Year Old Justin At Our Card Party

Join us today at our little card party. My grandsons wanted a card party after their girl cousins had one a few weeks ago, so here we are having a lot of fun. This is a picture heavy post and I hope you take a few minutes and join us in a lot of fun. Be sure to watch the videos as you will see the boys confidence shining through as we go along. I hope you too are blessed to do this with your grand children. Pictured above is little Gavin as he attaches his gems to the butterfly using the Pick-Me-Up tool. Gavin loved any tool I used.

This is Gavin's new little dog that Granny (my mother) gave Gavin. He sat with us while we made cards and had to have a seat at the card party too.

I don't know what the puppy's name is but he became very active on today's third video.

Here is Justin working on the little puppy card, notice he is checking to see if he is doing everything right.

Here is Gavin's little puppy card.

A dinosaur card. The boys loved using the big shot to emboss this card.

An apple card the boys can use for their teacher if they want.

Justin's football card was an easy card and once again they loved using the Big Shot to emboss.

This is just a little extra card that we made using the top off their cookie treat.

Great little watermelon cards... I am using mine when I take a meal to someone's house when they are unable to cook for themselves.

Here is a little Happy Birthday cupcake card that I can't use for the family because the boys will be using theirs!

Here is Justin's Police car. It was funny because he stamped ticket on the inside so he can give to his Mom or Dad if they ever get a ticket. I'm glad he didn't save it for me. Please watch the video below and it will show you how to put this together.

And our last card is a Fireman's Badge! I did this one and they both new exactly what it was.... I had to read up on it to know! Boy card party's are really different and I hope you take a few minutes and watch the video  below. I am sure you will enjoy.

Meet 5 Year Old Gavin And 11 Year Old Brother Justin, Getting Ready For Their Card Party

This is 5 year old Gavin's little doggie card and it is just as cute as can be. The boys were very upset that they couldn't stay for the girl's card party so we got to work and prepared for a little party just for the boys and boy did we have fun!

This card is made by 11 year old Justin. Doesn't it look great? He used my Big Shot and a Sizzix folder to give the ball the proper effect. He cut the card on the Silhouette Portrait on his own.

Justin stamped the inside is of all the cards with this stamp as he felt is was great motivation for every football player and people in general.

Dress Card Made By 11 Year Old Brianna

Meet Brianna, she is only 11 years old and is having a blast in my craft room. This picture of her is from another card she was working on but I thought you might want to see her.  We worked for hours in the craft room preparing our card packets.

Meet 11 Year Old Brianna As She Shows Us How To Make A Smile Card For Our Mini Card Party

 

Hello, I hope all is well with you. Today we are preparing for a mini card party that includes my 2, 11 year old grand daughters and my daughter Jennifer. We had so much fun together making the little card kits. Our party will be a 2:00 this afternoon.

We were to each prepare 2 cards of 4 sets for the party. Brianna chose this little smile  card that I designed 2 years ago. She didn't realize how hard the card was and how many steps it took to make it. She learned many things and had a lot of fun. Here is a copy of the file Smile Card for your Gypsy.

Peppermint Fudge Cake Pops Make GREAT Christmas Gifts And Are Fun To Make!

Christmas is the time of year to spend time with family, and that is exactly what we did. I spend the day with my grandchildren, Brianna, Carissa, and Aiden making Peppermint Fudge Cake Pops and we had so much fun and made some great little gifts for their teachers and school bus drivers. So join us today and learn how you can make this great recipe.

Now wasn't that easy? And so much fun.... oh before I forget you can get the little lollie pop die cut set at My Creative Time. The children were so enthusiastic and this really was fun. Now mind you if I had done this on my own it would take a lot less time but I guarantee you it would not even been half as much fun as spending the time with them.

Here is our little Carissa better known as our Sassy Chef!!! She is showing us how the little balls look before we placed them in the freezer to set up. Note you can also place them in the refrigerator but that would take about 1 hour and we went for the shorter time in the freezer.

The all wanted to show you the cake balls so here is a photo left to right; Aiden, Brianna and our little Sassy Chef Carissa!

As you can see we used our time wisely. While the pops were setting up we got the sticks ready and the sugar for dipping.

Our big boy Aiden did a great job of making the white sticks look like candy canes.

This is my daughter Heather and even she shelped us in this project.

Carissa wasn't trilled with the stick decorating but she hung in there with us.

Well as you can see there are many steps along the way, but we had some great times getting them done and that is what I like about Christmas.... just slowing down enough to spend time with those you love! There are many recipes out there for the same thing and all are similar but I can tell you from first hand experience this one is YUMMY!

And here is the tray of finished Peppermint Fudge Cake Pops! It was so much fun and these taste so yummy. The children were thrilled to be able to take them to school for their teachers and actully tell them they made their this little gift! They even gave to the school bus driver and Sunday School teacher is getting one too.

The Kids Corner Featuring Brianna and Carissa

While I was in Chicago I had the pleasure of spending time with my grandchildren. Recently I gave my daughter my baby bug when she came to visit and would you believe she had it 3 months and hadn't even turned it on!!! Well we got out the machine and I showed Heather how to work it by showing Brianna and Carissa. Well they are thrilled with it and made a few cards. These photos are of our time together. Brianna is showing Carissa how to apply Zip Dry glue to her project.

Carissa is doing a great job of doing exactly what Brianna taught her and her card is coming together nicely.

Carissa picked out her artwork and papers from Doodlecharms. Her mom was busy putting all the carts in the Cricut storage binders as she is reading herself to go to a crop in Gurnee, IL in November.

Her is Carissa's little Reindeer card... I might add she continued working on it and it ended up being a letter to Santa.

Carrissa is so proud of her card and loves working the Cricut. I think I will get cards from the children for Christmas! Yeah! And they are having a blast. Seems all my grand children love crafting.

Brianna's was the first card we did and the Popsicles are adorable. She made 2 cards. We actually made a wrong cut (the one on the right) and Brianna said we can use that as it is still good and you know what.... she was right.

Then we got a little creative and cut out the Mickey head from the Mickey font and Brianna took on this challenge and put it together.

 Look at this it turned out perfect, don't you love it?

Oh, this is little Aiden, he gave us all kinds of advise as he was too little to work the machine and play with glue. Instead little Aiden stayed at the table and ate goodies while we crafted.

This is my daughter Heather putting together a little Christmas tag... as you can see it on the computer.... I should show hubby this he complains that I use glue on the counter and she is using her laptop!!! Gutsy. Notice Carissa is there offering her advise!

I had to add this photo as last night Heather sent me a photo of Brianna's school project. She used the baby Cricut and Dress Up Paper Dolls to make this! I am so proud of her, she is only 9 years old, didn't she do great?
