Hey everyone...Sonya here from Sonya's Paper Trail. I've got a fun card to share today, it's a Father's Day card:
This
one is for my Father In Law. He's a big aviation enthusiast and I
thought he'd like this card a lot. The airplane cut is from the
Silhouette Online Store. It didn't come with a shadow cut, so I made my
own by "assembling" the plane on my screen, then just creating a
shadow. It worked perfectly and gave more "bulk" to the plane. I used a
brad to hold the propeller down. Notice the window? I used Glossy
Accents to make it look like it is a shiny piece of glass.
The
white piece of embossed paper has Liquid Pearls in the middle of each
embossed swirl. I just love when I can use this technique. It sure
adds some fun pizazz to a card.
And
the best part of this card...all scraps! I didn't cut into a single
sheet of full sized paper to make this. That makes me so happy!
Have a super day!

I just love your card. Creating the shadow really makes the plane pop, and the embossing is fabulous.

Such a great little card! Yes, it is a wonderful feeling to use up those scraps!
Sonya this card is just perfect. I love the embossing and the plane looks like it is ready to fly off the card. Thanks for sharing .
