Easter Children's Party

Here is our little Sydney with the Easter Bunny. Our subdivision had an Easter party and I helped with the crafts for the chilren. They each decorated an 2 eggs. The 1st was paper and all the child need to do was scratch a design onto the paper and tie a ribbon for hanging. The 2nd was a plastic egg that all they did was add stickers. We found most of the children were so young we had to stick with these for crafts.
My Justin and Sydney.... she is patiently waiting on him to finish so they can go out and play. See there's Easter bunny in the background. Yummy chocolate eggs.
And if you ever wanted to know.... this is how the Easter bunny eats her cookies! And her name is Mel!
Happy Easter Everyone!

Ooh La La Card - Forever Young

This little card is from Forever Young and George. I hit the wrong button so you got to see this post a day early! I have really been working hard at making more cards as this is difficult for me and my supply has dwindled down so much.  The papers are from Stampin' Up you can visit my friend Barb at SnowmanLovers Paperie for your fix!
As you can see this is a 1 page design, the base of the card was designed with George.
This is so easy just layout your paper pieces.
Only 1 cut and its ready to be put together.
I scored the card.

The Xyron on the back of the little pieces as I did not pop anything on this card.
I cleaned up the edges so it looked nice.
This is the inside of the card.
And the card completed.
I hope you liked today's project! It was posted a little sooner than planned, but thats ok. This is the gypsy file for you... OohLaLa.

Tea For 2

This is the other project I made for the Gypsy Jumped Over The Moon.... Isn't it cute? Notice how I stretched the 2 and squished the TeaFor? An A2 card made from 3 sheets of paper. The cardstock below is from Stamping Up but I felt it wasn't heavy enough for a card so I back 1 sheet with a light cardstock.
I had to fold these a couple of ways so you could see easier... 4 designs all the same shade!
I really put a lot of adhesive on the cardstock to make sure it held. Then I just glued the rest of the pieces on.
I added stickels on the teapot so it now matches the one in my China cabinet....
And I love how the little heart buttons pull the color out and add a little dimension!
Sure hope you like todays project. I enjoyed spending a little time with you. This is the Tea For 2 Gypsy File.

Another Card From Leftovers....

This card is for a dear friend that jokingly uses this term.... for lack of anything else to say. My husband also says this now and then and when I asked him what he thought of the card I made him, he wanted to know what he did... so don't attack me for sharing....
and yes it is made from the left over ItsyBitsy Spider page! I am using all my scraps!

ItsyBitsy Spider - Gypsy MB Challenge

This is my entry on the Gypsy Jumped Over The Moon challenge this week. We were to use a nursery rhyme and stretch and squish artwork.. I made the spider wider and the letters taller and narrower, the spider web taller and the NOT I welded and squished down.
Just so you have the background my handsome hubby and I moved into a brand new home 4 years ago. We did not know that the brown recluse and black widow loved the house more than us! Even though we had an exterminator that came monthly... it wasn't enough. Hubby was bit on the foot a month before I and had to take medication to stop an infection or further complication. I had the exterminator out again and 3 days later I got bit! Needless to say I have a new exterminator and I haven't seen a spider in my home since he took over 7 months ago.... We love you Chad!
Below are the papers I chose and they match the pictures color wise.... when I reprint it will look better!
I stickled the string holding the spider and it's web.
And I made sure I journaled this.... amazing this is only about 30 hours after I initially felt something on my neck. I was nervous about seeing the doctor.
A better shot of the web....
My flowers were from the leftovers, and I did what Jen told me keep a good supply of black flowers for the inside and she was right!
Sure hope I didn't creep you out with my little nursery rhyme!

Easter Cards From The Easter Cartridge

I just love this little lamb and it is so easy to make. This year I am making 6 special little Easter cards for my grandchildren. Because I don't have another day off until Friday the 26th, I tried to keep it simple. I used pastle card stock and some little stack that I got in a RAK on the Cricut MB along with ribbon from Stampin'Up. I cut out 6 cards and placed each one in its own little baggie as there were so many little parts, I didn't want to loose any. I made sure that I ran my pieces in the cuttle bug before hand.
After putting the little lamb together I placed stickles on him. The little chick I chalked his little beak and feet.
You can see the floral embossing when I do a close up.
Isn't the little chick cute?
And another close up on the embossing. I used pop dots to add a little dimmension.
Hope you liked todays easy project. Have a great day.
