Swarm Layouts 16 Total

I walked around the room and took shots of the many layouts of the evening. Above is an elegant layout completed by Jen.  I hope you enjoy the various layouts that the ladies created. We all had sooo much fun. Maybe next time you too can join us.

By the time I had a chance to walk around and take photos, many pages were already completed. you will however see many in progress. I need to go back and check how she did the map above. I love it.
This is in the process but before I finish photos it will be completed.
We scrapped 2 at a table.
Above was done by my Jennifer, those are my grandchildren!
I had to take a second picture here as I love this photo of Sydney with the sand in her hair.
Beautiful family!
TaDa, see it is finished and doesn't it look great? She used cursive 101 for the lettering.
Hope you enjoyed the layouts. Tomorrow I will post mine.... I only did one.

Riverside Baptist January Swarm

This is Jen, for those of your wondering she is working on some great things to share with you very soon. I tease her all the time because she has never posted on the Cricut MB. She needs to, as her pages are beautiful. Guess what Jen I will be posting one of your beautiful layouts tonight!

This Lee, working on her projects.
And these three beautiful ladies are Deirdre, Lee and Christen.

Tina is our speed scrapper. I am trying to get her to do a quick instruction for us on how she can do 30 pages in a weekend, she once did 50! Now I don't even ask how many she got done!
This is my friend Anita, she started working on a heritage album and guess what Anita has a brand new Expression! Welcome to the Cricut world!
And our friend Laura. She is a perfectionist.... I bet you will be able to pick out her symetrical layout.
This is my daughter Jennifer giving me the look! as I lifted my camera. I told her she needed to take a photo of me, but to make sure I look gorgeous... after 4 hours sleep the night before, I knew that wasn't going to happen anytime in this lifetime!
See it didn't work! I can tell how tired I am by looking at my eyes.... and my body kept saying lay down but I pushed on. There were so many stories going on I didn't want to become one of them. I kept going fully injected with chocolate! A scrappers must!
This is Meredith she sat right behind me and had a great time.
Lee again.
This is Tracy busy at work!

This is Paula, I met her for the first time tonight. We are missing photos of Beth and Ashley as they were out when I took people photos and honestly forgot to get their photos when I was taking pictures of the layouts. They are beautiful ladies and I am sorry.
My Expression and My Gypsy Woman taking a much needed rest. I cut for 5 hours straight before the swarm!

Look how organized this scrap station was.... that's our Lee!

Well this is all that I had time to post this morning but, I took photos of everyones LO's and will post them tonight after I get home from work. (9 or 10 pm). We really had a great time, laughing, sharing and talking the evening away. I was the first to leave at 11, my Jennifer left at 12 and Jen was there until 1 this morning.

I think we are all looking forward to the next one in March.  Oh, by the way, I finished my SOUS sketch last night and will post it also complete with directions by Sunday afternoon! I am so pleased with it and can't wait to share with you. (sorry ran out of time as I have to work). Have a great day!

Getting Ready For A Crop or Swarm

We try to bring little gifts for prizes so I decided I better let everyone know about my blogs 'New Look' (thank you Pam). Soooo, I ate lunch at my desk and worked on Electronic Treat Bags by using the header on my blog. I thought I could fit 4 tags on 1 8 1/2 x 11 sheet but had to settle for only 2. After I printed this I discovered I wound need to give out packs of gum so I made them larger and printed a few.

Fold right there between where the two headers meet.

Then I just adhered the adhesive an closed.... now we have a little gift for some lucky scrapper.
Now we better organize the bags to make sure I have all the necessary items to make my project.
I decided to break out the zip lock bags to place like items in this time, hopefully making my life easier. I can't get over how messy things get in such a short time! This should have stayed neater considering my messenger bag was just packed 2 weeks ago!  My large shoulder CM bag will have all my tools in it while my messenger bag will carry my projects.

I will also be taking my expression and my Gypsy Woman as I want to be ready to cut even though I plan on cutting my project ahead of time. I chose SOUS 1/15 sketch as I just love that layout. Unfortunately it was designed for a left hand page and I need a right so I have flipped it. Hopefully I will have it completed  and posted Monday even if it will be 4 days late. I haven't had a day off in 2 weeks so thats just the way it is.

Lets take a look at my CM bag. It holds my scorepal, cricut cutter, cricut tool kit, ATG gun, CM cutter, cutting mat, scissors, markers, adhesives, pop dots, mini and large glue dots, various size zig glue, cm tape runners  and cutting tools of all kinds. Punches, buttons, ribbons, rhinestones, pearls, stickles, skittles, feathers and so on. Oh, forgot my markers, chalk, brad tool kit, primas, brads, page protectors and I still need to take some paper, cuttle bug folders, red tape and a snack.

Boy it's hard to squeeze my fingers in this..... it should be interesting just trying to pick this up!!!
Now come back tomorrow and I will show you how I prepare my packets for a crop or a swarm. I will have only 1 packet with me as the project will be very intense and time consuming! I have it laid out on my Gypsy Woman... 7 pages of cuts....
