A Frugal Friday---Color your own ribbon!

I've decided I am not cheap, I am frugal. Frugality leads me to creativity. Check the ribbons on these two cards:
Doesn't it match well? I colored it myself and in today's video I'll share how!

Recipe:
  • Wright's Hem Tape (sew-in) from the fabric department
  • Permanent ink such as Tim Holtz Distress, Copic Markers or Bic markers
  • Water
  • Microwave

Until next, time! Keep sorting those scraps so that you can generate the gems! Nonna

Jeannie Love the project you are showing and what an interesting way to color ribbon. I didn't realize it wouldn't stick unless you prepared the material! Thanks for your great tutorial.

I would love to try this method out but unfortunately the sound on the video is garbled and I cannot make it out... I don't think it is my computer as i can listen to other videos without any problem...

Looks like a great video full of info, but I couldn't hear that was being said as the video was garbled and full of static. Looks great though!

Is it possible to redo the video? I wasn't able to hear anything and would love to learn how to do this.
Thanks so much.

This looks like a fantastic tutorial, but it is really difficult to hear because the sound is all garbled. I hope you will consider reposting; it looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.
