A Curled Paper Wreath

Hello My Friends,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here to share my project for November. Thank you Sheila for allowing me to do so. Hope you are all doing well.

I saw a fabulous wreath made by Angie from Chic 'n Scratch, her wreath was made with Halloween papers. I thought how cute would that be to make one for my mother to hang on her door for Christmas. After I started making mine, I saw another one done by Kimberly, her wreath was also fabulous.

I purchased a white foam wreath from Joann's, along with push pins. The strips were cut at 1/2" x 12". I took my bone folder and ran it across each side to curl them. Some papers worked better than others. Then I used a push pin to adhere them all, one at a time. It took a little time but I did it over the course of a few days, here and there. I handmade the rosette because the die I have is smaller than what I wanted. I stamped that cute snowman on a piece of white card stock and colored him in with markers and added some stickles. He is from a stamp set called All Around Accessories by Emma. I traced around the stamp because it is circular and cut it out as best I could. I used pop dots to adhere it to the rosette.

I then tied a red ribbon for hanging the wreath, punched a hole in the rosette and used some twine to tie it to the ribbon so that it could hang down.

I think it came out fabulous :) I love it. I will have to make one for myself but maybe a smaller one.
Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate it. Have a wonderful weekend.

Sweet idea. Jaunty snowman in the middle is a great touch.
