Cute and Sassy

Hi Everyone. This is Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room, it is my turn today to share my project with you.
This was my first time decorating a paint can. I have been wanting to do one for a long time, and thought what better way than to showcase it here :)

First I started out with this paint can that I purchased at Michael's.

I took the handle off, then cut blue paper to cover the paint can, I pressed the paper over the circle parts to make indentations, then punched circles out to go over them. I used a foam brush and painted the can with Modge Podge (white glue) to make it easier to put the paper around it.

Then I used the Forever Young cartridge and cut out 5 models at 5", and dressed them up.
Then to give them some bling, I used a button with twine on the first model, a white flower with a green skittle on the second, cranberry beads on the third, a blue gem and a white gem with silver stickles for the necklace on the fourth, and on the fifth model, I used gold stickles for the jewelry and the dress. I also used glossy accents on their shoes.

I tied fibers and ribbons to the handle, that took a little time. :)

I used zip dry glue on all the models except for the last one, I used pop dots.

I used the Xyron for the ribbon to put around the top and bottom.

Here are closer pictures of all the models on the can.

For the top of the can I decided to add a flower, it started off as pink, but you know that a little paint does wonders, so I painted it blue, added a black brad and used glue dots to stick it on the top.

So there you have it, my first decorated paint can. Thank you all for looking and of course a Big Thank You to Sheila. :)
