Enter To Win Dinosaur Card Kit Give Away

This card was so much fun to do and and look what a handsome little guy he is! And he is in the Weekly Card Kit Give Away, so all you have to do is leave a comment to qualify to take this little guy home.
This is the design, 1 cut and little time putting together and you have a great little card. I started with a square from George, a window rectangle and a solid rectangle and welded them together to form an 8.5x5.5" before fold an A2 card after. I placed the dinosaur and word roar on the card and welded it together. I then made a copy of the entire piece and flipped it so I would have a matching back to this card.
I tapped the dinosaur until it turner purple and made my layers making sure I positioned them on different spots on the mat for color positioning. I did the same with the word Roar.
Look at this paper DCWV Green Stack, Cafe Stack and Metallic Stack produces a winning combination. And that steely blue is from MyMindsEye
All I did was layout the different colors of paper to match my cuts and I was ready for 1 easy cut.
As this was the first time I cut I check to make sure everything lined up and it was a perfect match.
All the pieces are accounted for except for the grass. I didn't like the way green looked with the colors I chose so I just deleted that before the cut. The design still has the grass in case you want it for your card.
I did score my cardstock ahead of time and did not like how they matched up with the fold in the center. They could never match with the added bulk so I trimmed the inside of the card at the fold and inked at the fold matching the colors as closely as I could.
Notice too the that paper is so stark white on the back I descide to ink all the edges in bown.
See how I dabbed a little blue and green in that fold area, your eye isn't even drawn there as the color is so very close.
I set the pieces up to the fold and it looks good so I continued with my inking.
I did between each letter so the white core of the paper din't show through.
I then ran all my pieces through the Xyron to make it easier to put together on the run. I will not do this again for this particular design as it is difficult to get the edges to match. There is no forgiveness and you can not lift and separate to get the edging perfect. While typing this I can not remember if the kit is xyroned or not. If it is its because I did before completing my kit and I advise you to just take it really slow and you will line it up. If your kit comes with out the Xyron adhesive be thankful as it is really easy to add a little Zip Dry and maneuver or slide to get the perfect edge.
Look how nice the fold looks.
I positioned the paper for writting your notes on and it fits perfectly. It is a 3.75x5" white cardstock.
I added my little dinosaur base.
The word ROAR.
His top layer and little google eyes. Don't you just love his texture thanks to the magic of my Cuttlebug machine by ProvoCraft.
He is just plain handsome!
The inside looks so finished with the complete backing that matches the cover.
I sure hope you like today's card, I know enjoyed making this little guy! Some lucky lady is going to get this kit to make a little Sassy Dinosaur Roar Card Kit sent directly to their home.
